Suspended Animation: A Tribute to Louis Dudek

     Following the death of famed Montréal poet, teacher and intellectual, Louis Dudek, in March of 2001, another great Montréal poet, Peter van Toorn, began collecting essays from colleagues, students and adrmirers of Dudek for a tribute volume.  Health issues and other concerns prevented van Toorn from completing the project, and it languished in limbo until van Toorn entrusted the completion of the volume to a colleague at John Abbott College, Patrick Burger, before his own death in October of 2021.  Work on the volume is proceeding!  Watch this space for updates!
