
Patrick R. Burger
Patrick Burger lives in Lunenburg, Ontario. Owner of three horses, one reformed barn cat, and a rescued dog, he and his wife Amanda live on a 44 acre farm.
Patrick has authored various articles for Books in Canada, Matrix and Monster Island magazines. His books include the The Political Unconscious of the Fantasy Sub-genre of Romance and his most recent work On the Precipice of Fascism: The Mythic and the Political in the Work of Robert E. Howard and Ernst Jünger.
Patrick teaches English Literature at Cegep John Abbott College. He has a B.A in Creative Writing and an M.A. in English Literature from Concordia University. He completed a diploma in Education from McGill University and recently obtained his doctorate (PhD) in Comparative Literature from the Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen (JLU) in Germany.
Patrick is trilingual, speaking English, French and German.
